April Style + How I Would Wear It

Wednesday, April 26, 2017

This has been the rainiest week!  We needed the rain, it's true, but why all at once?  Our puppy and the rest of us are going a little crazy from it all!  Hopefully the sun will shine today.  On to the better things, like pretty spring outfits.  I thought it would be fun to not only share April finds with you, but also how I would wear them.  Here goes.

1.  gingham short sleeve popover - I recently purchased this top on sale.  It's hard to tell from the image, but it's navy(!).  Super soft, lightweight, and I love it!

2. new balance sneakers  -  I ordered these sneakers a while back and had to return them for a larger size, but they were well worth the wait.

3.  white bon-bon earrings - How cute are these?  And only $16.  Why pay a ton for trendy jewelry?

4.  blue bon-bon earrings -  See 3.

5.  straw clutch - Only $30.  I'll be ordering one!

6.  block heels with ankle ties - Love this on trend, wearable heel!

7.  espadrille slide - These have everything - texture, espadrille, and slide!

8.  black wrap dress - I ordered this after I saw how cute it was on the Teacher Diva.  It's very flattering, a bit low cut, and can be dressed up or down.  I'll probably need some spanx to go with it, lol!

9.  straw hat with ribbon - I wear mine (from J.Crew last year) all the time.  Every girl needs one.

10.  faded denim with frayed hem -  I'll admit I'm not big on torn up jeans for me personally, but would like a pair in a lighter wash.  Have any of you tried these from Loft?

11.  striped cotton-linen skirt - A-line skirts are flattering on most everyone.  Love the blue/black combo.

12.  white short sleeve popover - I ordered this one along with 1.  Love them both!

And here's how I would wear it all...

outfit one
church, luncheon,graduation

outfit two
casual, running errands

outfit three
date night, wedding, party

outfit four
casual, lunch date, errands

outfit five
casual, lunch date, garden party

outfit six

outfit seven
I know this look isn't for everyone, but I do love a good mix of patterns.
church, party, fancy lunch, dinner
blouse, skirt, shoes, earrings, clutch
