Friday Link Love

Friday, May 30, 2014

Hi everybody!  Thank you so much for your kind comments on Monday's post!  You all are the best! It's been a crazy busy week, but in a good way - hope you've had a great week too. I'm looking forward to a fun filled weekend watching my favorite lacrosse player.  Non-stop sporting events around here, ha!  Here's to the freakin' weekend (I've always wanted to say that).

Now for Friday links.  This week I'm loving...

Sugar and Cloth
I absolutely adore this DIY pom pom throw!  This one is perfect as is, but the color combinations are endless. Sounds easy super too!

The Beauty Department
If getting that perfect mermaid shot is on your summer to-do list, you'll like this tutorial.  Didn't know I wanted to try it until now, ha!

I could totally live in a Nancy Meyers movie.  How about you?

The Chronicles of Home
I love how this DIY rope mirror turned out and really love it on the porch!

I Wish You Enough
This story will bring tears, but it is something to think about.  I wish you enough.

Happy weekend loves!

  1. Thanks so much for the link, Rene! Hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

  2. Saw that pom pom throw and loved it this week, too. Nancy Meyers movies are my ALL TIME FAVORITE. I pause them and scrutinize the decor, like Cameron Diaz's California home, or Meryl Streeps Santat Barbara home and bakery...dying. Have a great weekend. xo Nancy

  3. I saw both It's Complicated and the Holiday and ended buying the DVDs. I can't tell you how many times I've watched them! I know every detail of each room! Wow, I read the "I Wish you Enough" story and definitely had tears running down my cheeks. Thanks for sharing Rene. Enjoy your weekend!

  4. Could her designs be any more beautiful- always eye catching…happy weekend!

  5. Love your blog and look forward to it every day! Now let's get through this graduation stuff. : )

  6. Some good links here Rene...that had me all over the place:)

  7. Yes on the Nancy Meyers comment! Obsessed with that kitchen from It's Complicated.

  8. Loveeee the pom pom throw! It would be fun to add pom pom trim to things like pillows and curtains.

  9. The party looks lovely! Congrats!!
