Life Lately

Thursday, June 8, 2017

This week is full of graduation activities and party prep.  We will have a house full this weekend and plan to do a lot of celebrating.  I'll share party details next week.  Today is all about what I've been up to prior to this crazy week.  Prepare for a very random post.

Our maple tree in the front garden needed to be pruned and the cuttings added a nice touch to our banquette.

Mr. and I recently made a day trip to Richmond.  We had lunch at The Daily and this mediterranean salad was delicious.  I want to try to recreate it.

While in Richmond we tried at stout at Stone Brewing...

...and stood in line 3 hours in the rain on release day at The Veil.  It was our first time experiencing release day - BHumble and Hornswaggler were totally worth the wait.

The gardenias in our garden smell so amazing I wish I could bottle that smell!  I keep one at all times in our bedroom and the fragrance fills the room.

Margaritas with friends at Kiosco - Love my girls!

Jerk chicken & fish tacos at Melt, but really the duck fries are everything!

Our deck needs to be replaced, but this rug is hiding some of the ugly.

We finally have a Clean Juice Bar in Greensboro!  I tried the green acai bowl and also did the juice 'til dinner.  Both were great!
