simple is beautiful

Monday Inspiration | Rustic Rooster

Monday, February 29, 2016

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend - most of it spent outdoors. The temps were perfect for sipping a beverage on the patio in the sun.  It's official.  I'm ready for spring!  How about we kick the week off with some pretty inspiration from California?  Rustic Rooster Interiors has long been a favorite. I'm all about traditional style inserted with coastal elements.  Especially when the end result is a timeless and comfortable space.  Rustic Rooster offers design services and if you're in the area, the store offers one-of-kind vintage pieces and beautiful accessories to add the perfect touch to any space.  If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely stop by.  Enjoy!

  2. Love her style and used to love her store! Unfortunately, I believe the store has closed and she is focusing only on her interior design company.

  3. BSWEINBERGER- Say it ain't so! I live just north in Oceanside so I will be doing a drive-by this weekend to verify. Love that place and her incredible gifts at interior selection.

  4. I NEVER knew the first photo (which I've had pinned for the longest time) was attributed to the ladies of Rustic Rooster. If only I were closer to CA, I'd certainly pop in for a visit to their store!

  5. I love these photos! The thing that struck me the most is how very timeless this all feels. It feels updated, not stuffy, but not so trendy that it looks like every other house (I hate that!) I feel like any of these rooms will still look good years from now, not an easy thing to achieve!

So sad to say the rustic rooster storefront has closed. I just want to focus on my interior design... And mom wanted to retire. It was a happy closing! Stay tuned for a new website and more fab and fun interior design jobs!!!!! Plus, we are offering once every 2 months an alley sale behind the old rustic rooster storefront {in our painting garage}... Still fun vintage finds!!! xoxo Alexandra - rustic rooster
