Sometimes I wonder what we'd do without our butler's pantry. It's where school lunch is made each morning away from the busier "main kitchen". When we have company, it serves as a buffet or drink station for guests. It also provides much needed extra storage space. Think china and crystal hoarder. My favorite butler's pantries have glass front cabinets and pretty marble counter-tops. Corbels and extra trim details are always an added bonus. One day I would love to install a beverage/wine fridge like a few of the images below. Enjoy the inspiration.
I especially love the dramatic dark walls here and the peek at the herringbone tile in the kitchen.
Love these inset cabinets and clean warm white against the dark wood floors.
The small sink and microwave is another nice (handy) touch that works even in the smallest space.
Brilliant idea to add the open shelving above the sink. An extra dishwasher never hurts. The basket tray and wooden cutting boards add warmth to the space.
A little more rustic, an old farm table can serve as an island. The farmhouse sink and drying rack are a nice touch.
