Out and About...

Thursday, March 1, 2012

The other day I popped into one of my favorite local stores, Summerhouse, to inquire about a sectional for a client.  By the way, do any of you own a Lee sectional?  Would love to get your feedback.  One of the things I love most about Summerhouse is the constantly changing vignettes.  I hope you can overlook the phone pictures, but I wanted to share a couple of the pictures I took.

I fell in love with this pair of lamps.  They would satisfy my recent pink cravings in a big way.  Did you notice the peonies?  Gorge.

I must have gone by this wall display ten times just to study the arrangement.  The sunburst mirror and sconces are perfection.  I also love the tonal paint detail on the chest.

I have always loved Chippendale butler's tray tables.  This one painted orange really adds a fun zip to a very traditional piece.  Adding the castors was a nice touch as well.

One more thing....our local Costco has the space saving hangers 35 for $10.  I bought two boxes and they are perfect in the new closet.  This, by far is the best deal on hangers I have found.

That's all for now kiddos...

  6. I love that dresser with the sunburst mirror vignette. Can I have that whole kit and kaboodle, please?
Now what I really want to know is if there is sherry and port available from the lamps?? It's a little early in the day right now, but that might come in handy for later ;) kidding, kidding!

  8. Hi, I don't have a sectional, but I have a Lee Sofa - it is very comfortable, but I don't like the way the seat cushions slide forward whenever anyone sits on it. They just don't stay in place. Have you ever ordered from Charles Stewart? I use them for clients more than any other furniture company. A big benefit is that their pieces are almost infinitely customizable.

  10. Hi Rene!

I have a Lee sofa and have had it for about 10 years - it looks as good today as the day it was delivered. I ALWAYS recommend Lee - you pay more but it is a great investment! Worth every penny if you want a great quality.

I am off to have a nice day out myself!

And those hangers? LOVE! not only space-saving but keep all of my tops on the hangers - which means neat & tidy - which means Happy Me :)
