For the first time in over 60 years,
we had a white Christmas here in Greensboro.

It's a pretty big deal.

  7. Lovely ! Your home and yard look like a winter wonderland ! What I love best about your blog is it reminds me of the home I grew up in -the outside of your home very similar and the inside decorating style very similar -so I always get a warm fuzzy feeling when I read your blog :-) I keep thinking I am going to have a blog this year but it will be more on altered paper and journaling, photos , etc. We'll see ! Have a lovely quiet day!

  21. It began to snow here just as our guests were leaving on Christmas evening, and it has been snowing lightly all day today. There is about 2 inches or so on the ground, and nothing to speak of on the roads.

Your snow photos are beautiful! It looks like the heavy, southern snow that weighs down trees and shrubs and power lines. Stay warm!
