She's Not Happy

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Over the weekend, Mr. CV and I rearranged furniture which created a domino effect around the house.  This caused Mattie Gray's (aka: The Co-Editor) bed to be moved.   On top of all of that, her weekend was disrupted with a bath and a missed walk.  She has been giving me the look ever since.

Sometimes she refuses to look at me at all.

Then comes the frown or as my mother would say, the Edith Bunker look.  Do you see the furrow over her brow?
I think she would rather be back in the mountains where she gets to hike and go out for pizza.  Who could blame her?

    3. you love your dog like we love ours....

isn't it funny how upset they can get...just like our other children when we frustrate their fun!

    4. Aw - such a cutie! It's so funny how much dogs are like people with their emotions, isn't it?

    6. Aww, poor dog. It is funny as dog owners that we know when our dogs are bothered and upset just by the look on their faces. I can tell when they are happy too. They look like they are smiling.

    7. Poor baby. So sad for her!:)
Our cat has a look that says, "If I were bigger or you were smaller, I'd have you for lunch." True love.

    8. Mattie Gray is a beauty! Love her expressions! I am having a similar problem with my labrador. He is totally put out with me because I had to take away his ottoman until this weekend (hopefully). Right now he keeps giving me looks alternating between disgusted and forlorn. Apparently the extra treats and two new toys are not enough compensation.

    9. Aww I'm sorry sweet Mattie Gray! Miss Kylee and Mr. Quinn say to head on up and spend a little time at the beach with them to help cheer you up!

    13. we have a Weimie too. and our Penelope gets cranky if we move her spot too. When we moved to this house it took her a week to find the "right spot". I swear I heard her do these long sighs whenever she couldn't relax! They are hilarious dogs for sure!~

    14. Our female rottie knows how to do this very loooong faced, hang dog look when she is upset. Cracks us up. LOL

    15. We call that look "the snub" at our house. Usually Bella is the one giving "the snub" but last time we went out of town my Zoey was the bigger snubber. I guess if you can't talk you better say a lot with each look.
