simple is beautiful

To Market, To Market

I love it when men look like men....

and women look like women...

The furniture market begins tomorrow.  Am I ready?  Yes and no.  For the next several days I will be working in a beautiful showroom with fabulous people...and wishing that I had one of these to wear on my jacket.  Isn't it lovely?

If you have questions for me and don't hear from me for a while, please don't give up.  I will eventually respond.  That is after I do 20 loads of laundry, scrape leftover sandwiches and pizza off of the sofa, re-stock the pantry, scour the bathrooms, and try to re-store general order in my little frat house, ahem, I mean cottage.

By the way, you might want to follow me on twitter because there's a chance you will see some twitpics from me at market....lot's of pretty things there....

  1. Have a wonderful time ~ can't wait to hear all about. If you happen to find those lovelies, pick up two ;)

Love the last comments about your frat house! It's all in the definition of clean.

  2. Have fun! I have friends that work Market and sometimes my husband helps out too! Now is the time to buy furniture...get some market sample deals!!

  3. i too, like men to like men and women to look like women. I think we've gotten too far away from that (at least i have) Bring on the flowers!

  4. I agree Sheri! Here's to flowers! By the way, Emerson Made has great flowers for guys too.

  5. I can't wait to see your twitpics! I love that website. All the flowers are just beautiful! xoxo

  6. Ahh, yes you have a frat house too? I have three boys and a husband and that is my house also, especially the teenagers! Have fun at market. Wish I was there.:)

  7. Have fun! Love the flowers.

  8. So jealous! Have fun!!!
Love those big flowers. I say scraping peanut butter off the couch earns you a whole bouquet of flower pins. Hope you get your hands on one!

  9. I LOVE these outfits, they are just what i like - a combination of chic and casual, of lady and kid, playing in the puddles. Have a great time!

  10. Thanks! You said that perfectly Martina! Chic but not so much so that you can't have fun.

  11. Love your sense of fashion. Have fun.

  12. I used to travel to these sorts of venues for design and I would just keep my outfit somewhat like a uniform.
It really helped not to get in the way of soaking everything in. I love uniforms and aprons and big floppy flowers too.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I love your comments and read each and every one. Your questions will be answered here or you can email me at
